I found this website on uniforms and the person who owns the website was very helpful in describing a uniform I was puzzled about, so he may be able to help you. There are many many websites on military uniforms as well, unfortunately I didn't save them all, just this one. Hi I am new to your list but an looking for information about Willis Hardy. He served with General Nathan Bedford Forrest. Willis admired General Forrest so much that he asked his wife to name their unborn child after the general. Willis did not live to see this son and I am having trouble finding information about his service during the Civil War.
