I believe Andrew Jackson Abercrombie to be a younger brother of Clemeth, not a son for the following reasons: 1. Andrew Jackson A. was born about 1846. 2. In the 1850 Federal Census for GA, Andrew Jackson A.'s name does not appear with the Clemeth A. family. 3. In the 1850 and 1860 Federal Census for GA, Andrew Jackson A.'s name appears with John A.'s (Clemeth's father) family. I have also found Andrew

He was evidently a son of Clem Abercrombie of Beltoit Kansas. She is sure her fannie is related to this family as Fannie married a William A Shanley in Fay Oklahoma and that is where Andrew jackon Abercrombie and his family migrated from Beltoit Kansaas. In my research on our surname I've found the following: Oh by the way this is at least the forth story about the famous three Abercrombie brothers I've herd. My search on this line Andrew Jackson Abercrombie b. 12 Sept 1875 d. 5 Nov 1950 wife #1? #2 Vinnie. Father William Roberts Abercrombie b. 1838-1885 3 sons 2 dau. one son was Andrew Jackson Abercrombie Jr., Baltimore, Maryland.
