Hello everyone, I'm Angela Morin Gagnon.
I live in Northern Maine in the beautiful St.John River Valley. In the
summer during Religious festivals, we can be out on the farm and we
overlook what we call "Little St.Anne" church in St.Anne, New Brunswick,
and listen to the Mass over the outdoor speakers. The St.John River

genealogy dates and places, etc for 2 years. However I have a ton of

Hello all,
I just got a book called The Hardys of Louisiana and Their Ancestors by Grace
L. Hardy. It has many references to our Acadian ancestors. It includes
surnames like LeBlanc, Landry, Boudreau, Thibodeaux, and many others. Has
anyone ever heard of this book? Does anyone know if it is good source
material?

Hey Y'all,
A favor to ask: if there is an obituary in the papers there, in
Louisiana, around Baton Rouge for a Rachel (nee: Cannon) Whitworth,
today or within the next few days, could someone please email it to me?
She is my aunt, descended from Ernest Martin Cannon and Riller
Breashears of Ascension Parish. She was a resident of Springfield, LA
but will be buried (next to her husband and Cannons) in Houston, TX, so
I do not know if the obit will be in Louisiana papers.
Would greatly appreciate it!

Hi Everybody..
I am looking for the marriage date and parents of Alexandre Arsenault and
Renotte Boudreau. I estimate their marriage would have been in the 1740s.
Alexandre descends from Jacques Arsenault and Marie Poirier to Pierre
Arsenault and Marie Guirin - I have absolutely no information at all on
Renotte.
Any help greatly appreciated! Alexandre's family lived in Beaubassin.

I am Roger Rozendal, Houston, Texas, retired after 34 years as a
geologist for Shell Oil Company. I am second generation Dutch and my
father and aunt have done an excellent job of tracing many of my family
branches back into the 1500's. Luckily, I married a Texas Cajun named
Thibodeaux (although family lore has caused it to be spelled Thebedeaux)
whose lineage goes back to Pierre Thibodeau and Jeanne Terriot. I have
found her genealogy and its associated history fascinating.
