He was born in Cape De Verde in the year 1847 and worked on ships sailing from Cape De Verde to Australia where he met his wife. Hi everyone, Does anyone know whether all the records from the Cape Verdian Islands are in the National Archives of Cape Verde? Would they have any records from the year 1847? Also I was wondering if there are any ship's immigration lists from Portugal to Cape Verde maybe my ancestors were born in Portugal or some other country ? In the National Archives in Cape Verde, the official language of business is Portuguese. However, I think that kriolu can also be used for business.
