I have been told by a cousin of my late fathers that family by the name of WATSON lived in Nairobi and Tanzania in the early to middle half of the 20th century. My great grandfather was Charles John Watson born 1866 in Bethnal Green, London. His parents were Edward Watson and Mary (nee Lyons). Charles married Louisa Sarah Hillier and they had 3 known sons and a daughter. I think they may have had another daughter possibly called Florence.

I would like to search the Tanzania Telephone Directory for families in which I am interested. I am hoping that the telephone directory is available on line and would be grateful for the internet addresses where it can be found.
Thanks

I am interested in making contact with any member of the
Delorie family that moved to Tanzania from the Seychelles. I would also appreciate any information on any of the Delorie as well

Hello,
Has anyone taken a genetic genealogy test?
If you have, would you be willing to help me with a study of genetic
genealogy testing? I teach sociology at the University of British Columbia and
I'm very interested in the experiences of people who have taken DNA ancestry
tests, especially if the results have an effect on people's lives or
identities. I'm hosting an online survey you can complete it anonymously
and it should only take about 10-15 minutes.
You can complete it here:
