Hello Fellow Blount County Researchers! Just posted another "bonus" cemetery: Moody's Chapel Cemetery. This cemetery is just over the Blount County line into Etowah County near Altoona. 13. [ALBLOUNT-L] Village Springs Cemetery [1]
We live near Village Springs, but we are not natives of this area and I have no idea where this cemetery would be located. I asked a couple of people who have lived in this area for years and they didn't know anything about it, either. If someone could come up with an exact location, I'd be willing to take a shot at enumerating or at least looking for particular gravesites. We live in Remlap in Blount Co. in the southernmost tip of the county, so I assume the Village Springs in question is the one

Good morning. I have been a silent person on the list...actually I haven't been working my genealogy in a while, but thought I would try again to find that elusive ancestor (big grin). It is believed John and Ann died when their children were in thei

Hello Blount County Researchers, Just added to the site: Nixon Chapel Cemetery. Nixon Chapel Cemetery will be included as a bonus cemetery in the soon to be published Volume 3 of the Blount County Cemeteries. The link: http://home.hiwaay.net/~bobwonda/index.html Kindest Regards, Rob
