I suspect that you are getting this message because "ron stone"
automatically sends this message to everyone on his/her mail list when
planning to be out of the office......however he/she doesn't realize that
the ALBLOUNT email address goes in turn to lots and lots of people who
aren't interested in whether he/she is in the office or not. :-)

I don't have any Jones but just noticed it was a will in a new location.
It was a short one though so when I go back I'll copy it for Robin to post.

Looking for any/all information on the Calvin Cassell family. He must have
died before 1880. In 1880 his wife, Annie S., had remarried to Washington A.
Devaney.
Her name was Annie S. Amerson
Children were
Mary Lori Cassell
Francis J. Cassell
In the 1880 Census there is listed a 3rd child and I am unsure if she was a
Cassell or Devaney. Her name is listed as Martha E. Devaney. But the other 2
girls are also listed as Devaney's on the 1880 Census. Believe there were 2
other girls born after the 1880 census.

Folks
I've found a small gold mine!! I was looking up a deed record in Book B
and found a couple of wonderful items. I have to work the entire week
next week but I plan to return to the vault the following week to
examine the book more extensively.
I found deeds, cororner's bonds and even some wills. Will for Thomas C.
Jones, father of Enoch Jones is in this book. The book has an index but
doesn't say what kind of document it acutally is. so you're acutally
surprised when you get there.
Terry
Just got this on another list. Its looks like a great tool.

Evening folks,
Anyone up for a challenge? I've not done anything on either George

Amy Rhudy,
Are you monitoring this list? Does Blount Co. Museum have a copy of this
book? Can get down there this week but don't believe I'll make it to
Hanceville.
Thanks

I am in Sacramento, CA where we have some archives in which I might be able to find
items needed by the list members here. I'd be glad to try finding stuff for anyone
if they reply off the list to ron stone that way we
won't clutter the list with non Blount matters. (please put HELPLIST in subj line)

Good Morning Peggy,
I still have a day job and I am also into gen. research. My reason for being on the
Blount Co list is the Stone and Christopher families there in the Civil War and after
time period. Wiley Stone's sons, joined the 28th Alabama Infantry at Murphree's
corners (or was it crossroads) when it was formed. That was William (ggf) and
older bro, Francis Stone. We are not sure which outfit Wesley and James Stone
were in quite yet. On the 1866 census some are still there although by 1870
