This may be farfetched but could perhaps be a clue: I have some lateral

I am hoping to connect with anyone who might know a date of death or
descendants of Zanobia King Hill. It is my understanding that she lived
in Anniston, Calhoun Co., Alabama, and had a dance studio there.
She was born 8/26/1908 in Texas, the daughter of Elijah T. Jones and

Does anyone know if there is a birth index for Calhoun Co that would in
clude the year 1871.
Supposedly my gg-uncle Samuel James Boyd was born in Jacksonville, Calhoun
Co., AL in Aug 1871. I have not been able to confirm this. Nor have I been
able to find either his father, Thomas James Boyd, or his mother Ellen
Leander Cox on the 1870 Calhoun Co. census.
Anyone have any suggestions?!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Melissa in TX
