I would like to make contact with anyone on this list who may have
connections to an Edmund P. Martin and his family who were in Autauga County

following family members:

If you're still looking for this info I'll try to look it up for you at the
library this weekend. I believe that only a portion of the Perry County
census exists for 1890, but I should be able to find something for you from
1880 and 1900.

Chilton County was created by ac
Leslie,
That part of Chilton County was once part of Autauga County. I believe the
line was either just above or just below Clanton before 1868. My ancestors
lived at Coopers where the Chestnut Creek Baptist Church is located.
Hope this helps.

Leslie,
I have the book on the 1870 Baker County (Chilton County) Census and could
not find any William C. Atkinson listed. He would be about 12 then. In
1860, Chilton County had not been established. Baker County was
established in 1868 and I believe the records start in 1869. The name was
changed in 1872.
Chilton County was formed from Bibb, Shelby, Autauga and a little bit of
Perry Counties. For the 1860 census, you should try these counties.
Bibb County Alabama 1860 Census is in book form but

Chilton County, nee Baker was not formed until later than 1860. It was
formed from Shelby,Bibb
Autauga and a small piece of Perry. The Autauga 1860 is online at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~alautaug/1860cen.html
Bibb and Shelby might be online at their webpages respectly.

I wasn't able to locate anything in the 1880 or 1900 census under J. Wesley
or John and Sarah Wesley.

world.
Much appreciation-----

That is very sad that it is almost illegible. Especially for us that really
need it! Do appreciate the work all of you are doing to help. We could not
get anywhere without you.

Hello list --
http://alabamamaps.ua.edu/alabama/historical/index.html
I've just discovered these nice online historical Alabama maps. One series
shows changes in county lines each decade between 1820 and 1890. Others
show railroad routes, and forts.
Pat, in Texas
Does anyone have a copy of these records and not mind looking up the household of John Wesley and Sarah CHAMBERS for me? It would be greatly appreciated.

Would anyone be able to look in the 1900 Chilton Co census to see if there is
a family named ATKINSON. I am trying to find the William C. Atkinson family,
wife Nora. He may have died by that year, I'm not sure. Just know that his
last child was born in 1897.
Thank you for any help anyone is willing to give.
Leslie Hill
Jack,
In the "Cemeteries of Chilton" book buried in Old Rock Springs Cemetery,
North of Jemison at Minooka there is:
Busby, Meriday Tarply 1858-6-19 1929-4-29 Father
Busby, Susan K. 1859-9-4 1946-5-1 Mother
There are a lot of BUSBYs buried in this cemetery.
