Irma, is this Gentry a desc. of Isaac Gentry 1785-1853 who married Sarah Giles on sept 28 1819 in Bibb and had 4 kids:Rebecca, Thomas,Isaac, and James Monroe Gentry. The Clecklers are kin and Sarah Giles kids by another husband...Davis Hubbard ...married into the Rasberrys when Elizabeth Hubbard married Madison Rasberry in abt 1830 or so in Bibb. Maryellen

Can a nice person please search printed Chilton cemetery sources for a burial site for this man (I've searched the online lists without finding him): John W. I have the Chilton Co. Cemetery book and do not see him in it there are a lot of SCOTTs in it though! My late grandfather, Rev. A.T.Hickman, was an Assembly of God minister for over 65 years. For a number of years he was in Clanton, Chilton County, Alabama. In going through some old boxes that belonged to him, I found the following in his notes from a funeral service he presided over in Clanton. Hello Linda Blackman, 20 Jun 2000 Reference your 20 June Email where you indicated that you did research on the Cleckler Family of Baker County Chilton County Clecklers. Are you related to Seaborn Clackler (Cleckler or Clickler) who married Mary Ann Edwards in Bibb County Ala on 27 Mar 1848? Seaborn was born in Ga about 1814 and he died in Bibb County Ala on 5 Mar 1855. Seaborn and Mary Ann had at least 2 children: Barbara Ann Clackler and Margaret N. Clackler. My email addr

Lynda, There are 15 male CLECKERs and 13 female CLECKERs. It is arranged alphabetically first by the grooms name and then by the brides name. Irma J.
