I am glad to be able to contact others interested in Franklin Co., AL
genealogy. My primary family interests in this county are these families:
DRAKE and SKINNER. I am also interested in families they intermarried
with including: FREEMAN, MALLORY, COAN, MULWEE, BEAN, KENT, HARVEY, and
HURLEY.
Capt. WILLIAM DRAKE b. 23 Mar 1789 Botetourt Co., VA) came to this county
by 1818 and settled in Russell's Valley in the Waco vicinity. He died 12
Jan 1866 and is buried in family cemetery at Waco. Hi

Thompson, b. 1793 in Pendleton District, SC m. John L. Hunnicutt, b. 1781 in
Pendleton District, SC. Her father was Joseph Thompson b. 1747 England m. Mary
Jolly b. 1747 Scotland. Rebecca had a brother William Thompson b. 1787
