My g-g-grandfather, Andrew Milligan ASTON, wrote the following obit
[transcribed as written] for Sarah WOODS:
Sarah Woods* Departed this life April the 19th 1854 and hir funeral was
Preacht Sept the 3rd 1854 at antioc church by J. W. Logan a cumberland
Presbeterian minister of the gospel. text was the first Epistal of Paul
the apostle to the thesiolonians the 4th chapter and the 14 verse reads

The Lamar Co.Genealogical and Historical Society is trying to place
name markers at these cemeteries.
And road signs near by,if the cemetery is off the main road.They accept
donations
for whatever cemetery you wish to donate to.We appreciate the local boy
scouts and
individuas who have volunteered to install these signs.Several
cemeteries have already been marked.If you are interested in this
