Between 1820 and 1845 there were several Tennyson families in Lauderdale CO., AL. However, information is scarce. Only one shows up on any census I have found, 1840 pg 74 John B. Tenneson. Hiram Tenneson was in Lauderdale CO., in 1824 and was known to be there again after marriage ca. 1830 through April 1840. There was also a James Tenneson, Sarah Tenneson, as well as the John B. Tenneson in the 1840 census.
Any and all information on any Tenneson, whatever spelling, whatever dates, highly appreciated sinc

I am new to this family line in Lauderdale County. I am searching for any information on JESSE CALVIL LITTRELL, b. 1878. His father was MOSES LITTRELL. I have only family tradition to start with, but I discovered numerous Littrell family references in my copy of the Lauderdale County family history book. I also have a copy of McDonald's great book on the County's history. Any assistance in starting this apparently old Lauderdale County family line would be appreciated. Jesse Littrell's son is DONALD DWAYLE

I received a virus yesterday through the list. The virus came from Jo Langwell. The subject line had my family names that I had listed with the site. It was in answer to a message I sent several months ago. The message had at the bottom, "I thought you might like to check this out." I thought that it was something about the families I was searching so I attempted to open it. Thank goodness my virus scan is smarter than I am. It immediately stopped me and asked me what I wanted to do with it. I know
