I've just been there - clicked on the link in the message below and all is
well. I've added a link from my website (www.AllenFolk.com) and it works
fine as well. For those who have written and indicated comments - I noted
that the link each provided when they said they had a problem was not the
true link as indicated below.

Sue,
The only dates I have for Camilla Allen Ahern is the date on this sheet of
paper. She was my great grandmother and my mother was present when she
passed, she did die in Dec. 1938. Mother is sure of that. She met my dad
that year :). Her youngest brother was born that year also.
We believe that John H. Ahern may have been her Husband. Not sure of that
even as my grandmother, CAMILLA E. AHERN HAPPOLD, was not very forthcoming
with any information.
As for
CHAS. E. ALLEN, not sure who he was, it has
I was wondering if any one could help me find a man by the name of
Wayne Barnette Allen
Born early 1930s I believe. I'm not sure if he is dead or alive. Someone may
have info in their Family tree perhaps on him. He is an old friend of mine
from boot camp. We were in Platoon 471 at Paris Island, SC in July of 1952
any help on how to find him would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
T. Prater
Tippi,
I just went back there and pulled up the book. Maybe it is your server
at that moment.

Go to the home page above; on right side it says Genealogy Books on
Line; click on; then the first one listed is Allen. See if that works
for you. Good luck.

Is anyone on this list researching Elias Taylor Allen b. 1821 MA or NY.
Married Sophia Emmons/Emond/Emmond, b. abt 1824,France, in 1846.
Children that I am aware of (but there may be others):
Martha Ann, b. 1848 NY
Almina, b. abt 1854 WI
Frank, b. abt 1860 IL
Ida b. abt 1863, IL
Elias Taylor Allen listed as a saloonkeeper 1870 Cook Co, IL Census.
Thanks,
Linda
Time for me to ask again if anyone has a RUSSELL ALLEN among their
ancestors? He was born about 1795 in Massachusetts according to the 1850
Wisconsin census. He was in Washington County Indiana by 1822 where he
married Sarah(Sally) RAY and they had several children, all born in
Indiana. The sons were named Alonzo, Erastus, Zachariah and Thomas. The
children are pretty well accounted for but Russell must have sprung from
the head of Zeus. I can't find him in the 1820 census (yet) so don't
know his migration
Hi I don't know Elias, but he is close enough in age and location to be a
brother to my dead end line Lovina Allen b July 24,1824 at Hudson, NY Her
parents were listed as Willianm Allen and Phoebe Bartow. She married
Abraham Van Allen, had 11 children including a Frank and an Ida, as well as
Phoebe my grandmother. Lovina died in 1917 at age 95, she tole her childfen
she grew up in Dutchess Co NY. we do not know any more about her family.

Hi John,
What I have found on Elias Taylor Allen is that he is the son of Benjamin
Jr. Allen and Polly Taylor. Different gedcoms online show a 2/23/1821
birthdate; but list both Lanesboro, MA and New York as birthplace.
I have just started researching this line; as I think that Elias T. and
Sophia (Emmons/Emmond) Allen's daughter Almina might be my
great-grandmother. I, just today found that probably the same Elias Taylor
Allen married an Anna Goodknight in 1875 in Clinton Co, IN which is where I

Hi
Just looking for lines on Allens--often Samuel as the first name--who
came to the US from British Isles in the mid 1800s, probably passing
through the New England states, who ended up in Wisconsin and
Minnesota. I have info and pictures beginning in about the 1840s with
Samuel Allen.
Thanks. Jim Allen

ALLEN,
Hi, Sue,
You say you also have ALLENS buried at Fernwood, in Philly, have you
connected any of mine to your family?
Mother tells me that my grandmother, Camilla E. HAPPOLD, nee AHERN, used to
go to New Jersey about once a month but she never told momma who she went to
see or why.
Camilla's mother was Camilla E. AHERN, nee ALLEN. it is great grandma Ahern
buried in the plot at Fernwood.
My HAPPOLD family including CAMILLA are buried in a nearby plot same
cemetery.
I bet, given my grandmothers unexplain
