Sometime within the next day, Christmas Eve, I hope to upload an updated
marriage file for 1830 - 1849. There will be many corrections for the 1831 -
1836 time frame. As explained in a notice on that file's introduction:
"When marriage Vol. D became too worn to be used, it was "retired" and the
528 marriages in the book were copied into a new book entitled Vol. 4 (I think
possibly by WPA workers who could have cared less about accuracy). The indexes

I recently came across some advertising from the Keller Motors
Corporation of Huntsville, Alabama. With a little internet research, I was able to put
together a little bit of Madison Co. history of which I was never aware. Bet

I've uploaded an 1809 - 1899 Bride's Index for surnames A - L. This will
need editing. The rest to come.
The finding of old Marriage Book C rebound in two parts, and just
recently old Book D (very sad shape, but we'll rebind), will allow us to make quite
a few name corrections in Vols. 2 and 3. These are from the 1820s and 1830s. I
will let everyone know when this has been done to the online files.
