Watkins who settled in the Powers Chapel area of Falls County, Texas. I
am a descendent of this marriage through Ernest Linear Jinks.

I'm researching Gilford Cooper, b. ca. 1800 ?NC/ SC, m. about 1825 to
Martha M. Harris, b. ca. 1805 they had to known daughters. Mary Jane
Cooper, b. ca. 1830 ?GA, d. abt 1856, Coosa Co., m. Nov 1848, Tallapoosa
Co. to Theophilous Warren Tinsley, b. Sep 1828 SC, d. 1916. Sarah
Elizabeth Victoria Cooper, b. Sep 1837 NC, d. abt 1920 Elmore Co. she
also married Theophilous Warren Tinsley in Jun 1857 after her sister
died.
Could use some help on the COOPER and TINSLEY line.

My gg-grandfather William H. Stephenson in his application for a marriage
license in Chambers County, Alabama, on July 2, 1849, cosigned a $200 bond with
Strother Gaines. Then on July 8, 1849, William married Salina C. Browning in
the Antioch Baptist Church in Chambers County. Salina was from the County Line
Church in Chambers County. She later transferred her membership from that
church to the Antioch Baptist Church on July 9, 1850. Strother Gains is buried
in the County Line Church Cemetery. What con

early November. Everything possible is being done to have it available as

Oliver Mathis is my great-grand uncle. I also know that their are Stanfields
in the family. I just started my Mathis research and would be interested

Yes, Bryant Forehand was my great-great grandfather.
Would the person who sent me an email in 1998 in regard to the KNIGHT
family and used the 'Calvry F. Adair' for the subject please get in
touch with me? Seems I lost the first page of the email. I would like to
ask that person a question. There was some info on the KNIGHTs who

My great grandfather John Daniel Davis b.1832 SC died March 1873
Tallapoosa Co, Ala and is buried in Old Union Cemetery south of Jackson
Gap. His will was witnessed by JOHN A. DAVIS - could he be a relative? I
cannot find some of the John Daniel Davis's brothers but don't think
John A. Davis is one of his nephews. Does anyone know anything about the
ancestors of John A. Davis?

Info, 1910 census: William Thomas BURNETT age 40 Nancy Ann ABRAMS BURNETT
age 34. 12 children, Horace, Elbert, Lizzie, Calvin, Sallie, Louada, Estell,
Johnnie, Lela, Wilson, Lucy, and his Mother Mary BURNETT living with them.
Our family is trying to solve a mystery that happen to our family in the
late 1880's. Francis E. Bain Davis wife of John Pinckney Davis known as
Fannie and Pinky to family and friends. At some time Fannie died and the
children were scattered about. We do know that James Underhill Davis had
left Jackson's Gap because he had gotten into an argument with his mother
as she had sold his favorite cow and run away from home to Russell County,
AL and went to work in one of the mills in Columbus, GA. He boarded with

I have a John H. WILLIAMS b. abt.1800 N.C. married Mary Mahan abt.1833.
John H. WILLIAMS was buying land in Tallapoosa Co. as well as Coosa Co.
The first child born to he and Mary was named Eli. He was born 1834. The
rest of their children were born in Coosa Co.,Ala. Could the naming of
that first son as Eli be because of a brot

I will help you any way I can. I know there are a lot of Burnetts in Tallapoosa
County but I don't know too many of them. The Burnett that was married
to Bryant Forehand was my great-great grandmother. Just tell me what you
wish to know.
Looking for information on Augusta Ann HUBBARD who is listed in the
Tallapoosa Marriage book as marrying James M. PARTRIDGE 19 Jul 1859. She
most likely was born in the late 1830s-40s. Does anyone research the
HUBBARD name in Tallapoosa County during this time period? Does her name
sound familiar?

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, there's a Bethlehem
Methodist Campground Church/Cemetery in Randolph Co., Graham, AL. I
have alot of relatives buried there. No, I don't know who to contact on
this church, but suggest that if they have a newpaper in Graham, would
be your best bet.
If you find out, would you lookup Sarah Angeline Cole Cosper b. 1847 d.
