JoAnna,
You mentioned that Charlotte was your great grandfather's sister. What
was your great-grandfather's name? My Anderson family was in Randolph County
in 1860. I have not done alot of work on this line yet, but here are a few
things I can tell you.
There were alot of Andersons in that area and the nativity reported on the
census records would seem to indicate several different unrelated groups. If
you go to the Randolph Co Genweb site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilrandol/
you will find an on-line

AGE IS A BANK ACCOUNT
She is 92, petite, well-poised and proud. She is fully dressed each morning
by 8 o'clock, hair fashionably coifed and her makeup well applied, in spite
of the fact that she is legally blind.
Today she moved to a nursing home. Her husband of 70 years recently passed
away making this necessary.
After several hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home
where I am employed, she smiled sweetly when I advised her room was ready.

Hello,
I am still trying to break through my Anderson brick wall.
My g,grandmother was SARAH JANE ANDERSON b. March 17, 1848, Brownstown,
Allegheny Co., PA. One would think that it would be easy to find her in the
Allegheny Co., 1850 Census; however, we don't find any Andersons with a
daughter Sarah age 2.
What we have found is a LEVI ANDERSON and a wife named AMELIA/PAMELA living
in Huntington Co., Cass Township, PA. Maybe someone on the list knows about
Levi and can help me.

more about her (she was my great-grandfather's sister). Where could I
start looking for her? Is there by any chance a TRABUE mailing

Janet,
I don't know if your Elizabeth Anderson was part pf the "Blockhouse" John family or not. I have researched this family to see if my 'Carter Anderson' b 1820 Scott co Va could be part of this early Blockhose John's family. So far I don't have any info. In 1820 there were only two Anderson men listed on the census. Isaac and James. Isaac was the son of Blockhouse John and they are both (John and Isaac) buried in the Morrison Chapel Cem in what is now Sullivan co. Tn. Their wives are also there. al
