Hello All,
I would like to let everyone know that I am the new admin for this list
and would like to kick things off with a roll call and BRICKWALL call.
So list your ancestors, and most of all your BRICKWALLS. You never know
-- there may just be someone else researching your family.
Any questions or comments just let me know.
Sincerely,
Joan Asche
List Admin.

This is for the benefit of all members to see the replies as well as the

Hello, I am a descendant of Jacob Anderson and his wife Susannah Buchanan. They lived around Montgomery co Va in the 1700s. Their daughter Rebecca is my ancestor, the wife of John Hash. I would like to know who the ancestors of Jacob and Susannah are. This couple is said to have come from N. J. down to VA. I'm willing to exchange information. Thanks.

Dear Cathy,
I go no further back than my Lewis Anderson, born in Grayson Co., VA in
1788. I don't know anything about his family. The next information about
him is that he was "converted" and joined Rev.Peter Cartwright and road with
him to preach in Jonesboro, Washington Co., Roane Co. and Clayborn Co., TN.
Does this give you any help?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Pat Ely
