Do you think they might of had NY Palatine Relatives. The names are the same
they have Henrich, Wilhelm, Jacob and Daniel. These names appear in the NY
ones also.
What Area of Germany were they from? Do you know?
Pat
Thanks Gary
Yes, I realize that they are common names, but a Friend of mine who came
about 20 yrs ago from Germany had his parents over here for a month. They
are going back next week. They said that the Appels all came from the same
Area years ago and that they know Appels in Germany now. Of couse it was
Prussia previously.. Anyhow they are going to check on it more and let me
know about some church records. Thank Heavens, he spoke 7 languages as I sure
can't speak German at all. In the old Days
OK thanks for checking

Are any of your apples from Tennessee? My grandfather was born in Smith
county in 1881. I know this was not a state listed but I've hit a dead end.
Thank for any help.
HI Susan
I have my Apple line in PA, Cleremont Co. OH, and I believe the may
have gone to Marion Co. IN. I don't recall Story Co. IA, but it is
possible. I also have a Clark line which is descended from Apple.
You may want to check my O'Neal web page out at the bottom of this
e-mail, and let me know if there is a match. I hope to hear from you

I am looking for some Hills and I thought I would throw the names at you and
see if they stick. The name is Bardley Hill. He came to Arkansas about 1845
via Alabama from Tennessee to the best of my knowledge. He traveled with the
Lemley family and was a slave owner. I have heard tell that he left a mother
and sister back in Tenn. to come here. Bradley is a dead trail before 1845
except that he was on the slave rolls and that the Lemley family says that
he came with them. Have you heard of some one by this n

Eddie Mack Henry Apple and Theresa May Harper Apple were my Grandparents.
They had one child Argyle who later added Edward before his name. My
grandfather was born in Smith County TN. in 1881. My grandmother was born in
North Carolina in 1885. Both families moved to TX in the mid to late 1880s.
Has anyone found the names of Wilhelm's siblings? Pete Apple.

Hi all
sorry for the broken link. Let me try it again.
I just updated my Apple Web page to make it the most comprehensive
yet. Just click on my link at the bottom of this page and let me
know if you have anything that you can add. This will make it easy
for apple cousins to see how they are relate together.

Still trying to find out where all that Apple Family from Montgomery Co. NY
who migrated to St. Lawrence Co. and Lewis Co. went to. Rumor has it that
they traveled westward to work in the mines in Utah and some went to
homestead in Wisconsin. I am sure that somewhere there are other descendants
besides myself and I'm hoping someday to hear from you. Check your Apples and
see if they ever saw NY.

He was born in Smith County Tennessee in 1881. He moved to Texas as a small
child. I do not know his parents names. He had brothers, Ernest, Charlie,
Levi and a sister I think. My grandfather married Theresa/teresa May/Mae
Harper in 1908. My father Argyle was born in 1909. He was an only child.
They lived in the Greenville, Wolfe City, Honey Grove area of Texas. My
father moved to Dallas in the 30's . He married Ida Mozelle Dees in 1935.
I was born in 1951 also an only child.
