Hello Carolyn,
Do you have any more information on Robert E. Palmer ?, like when and where
he was married, who he married, names of his children ? Have you found him
on any other census other than 1900 ? Any information you can give me might
help me to track him down.
Good Luck Hunting,
Johnny

Ellie,
Have you tried the Izard list? That list is filled with helpful people (and
it's a fun list, too!). If you need a specific look up, one of our
volunteers will be happy to check it for you. Be sure to clarify that you
not only want your family, but the neighbors born in KY as well. I'll be
home all day today (we're expecting a tropical storm to hit this
evening...ugh) so if you email me exactly what you're looking for, I'll be
happy to check for you and send you some pages to look over.

Hello Wilma,
I am glad I was able to help. It was not the census takers that got the
name wrong, I could tell by looking at the census "knowing the name" that is
was Groves and not Crover, but it was hard to read. I don't know what to
tell you about Lizzie being Mary or Martha, but Lizzie is a nickname for
Elizabeth. Are you sure she was Mary and not Martha ? Maybe someday you
will find out for sure.
Good Luck on Your Search,
Johnny

Thanks Johnny. Interesting that they list the name as "Crover" instead of
Groves. Then Mary E. (Lizzie's) name as Martha E. On all other census data in
La. she went by Lizzie. All the children check out.. Chloe was named for an
aunt (sister of Wm.'s I believe), yet census takers never

Hello Wilma,
We are gonna need more information to be able to find William and Mary
Elizabeth for you, like when and where they were born. Are they husband and
wife or maybe brother and sister? Are their any other siblings or maybe
children ? Is this a black or white family ? Could Mary Elizabeth be
married or remarried by 1930 ? Any information you have might help us find
them.

I am trying to find the married daughter of my Samuel Smith.. Several of you

neighbor that might have been in another state with them. The surname of SMITH
