If you don't have a death certificate for Jane, you might can get one. My
Great Grandmother died in Oct. 1939, and I went to the Department of
Statistics and got a death certificate for her so we could know what her
death date was exactly, and put it on her headstone. However, they are only
as good as the person giving the information. I got one for my grandmother
on my father's side and no one knew her birthdate.... I finally narrowed it
down from the census to Jan... between the 1st and third, because she

I am looking for anything on Denzil Sandford Madden (AKA Dan Madden). He was Deputy Sheriff for Sharp Co, in the early 1900's. He worked on the Frisco RR, he built homes and cabins and possibly worked in a sawmill. He and his wife Gertrude (aka Gertie) held Sunday School classes in their home.
Anything anyone might have or can give me would greatly be appreciated.

The state of AR did not keep death records before 1915. That is probably why
you got your check back. It would not have killed anyone to have written
such on a post-it note, so you would know!

One of my fondest memories is Tuti-Fruiti Ice Cream, and my Dad sitting me
way up on a stool to the counter of a little cafe in Jackson CO, AR and letting
me do the ordering. This would be ca: 1940 just before WWII.
