Hi! I have an uncle, Charlie Herren. His father was John Marion Herren
( 2-14-1900 - 03-08-78} His mother I still do not know her name. I know
she died when Charlie was young. Charlie had one sister...Lillian Herren
Black...who died at an early age leaving 4 small children. If this is any

Im trying to find background on my grandfather's parents who were
sharecroppers in Clay County and Greene County and may have migrated from
southern Illinois around the turn of the century. (1900) My Grandfather's
name was Marion Franklin Morris b. July 4, 1896 d Dec.16,1974 and his
father's name was Rilly Thomas Morris and his mother's name was Fannie Blake.
Im trying to find their birthplace and Marion's siblings as well. Marion had
4 sisters and a brother I am told.

married my gr mother Mollie Madge ( Daisy) Bramlet,Moore abt 1946-47
Maybe there are some family still around the area.
Mollie died in 1950. and is buried in Shady Grove Cemetery, Fontaine Ar.

My Grandmother was Hattie Belle Grayum. She died when my father was about
8 years old. I think her parents were John Grayum and Rebecca McGuire.
They died when she was a child and she was raised by an Uncle named McGuire.
