Patty,
Fulton County is a burn county. The Marriage records start from 1887. There
are no marriage records before 1887, Some records were saved, not marriage
records, sorry. I sure could have used the earlier records too, as I have 2
marriages that went up in flames.
I checked anyway, no Francis Marion Harris or F. Harris or F. M. Harris
listed
No Margaret Ann Conard or M Conard or M. A. Conard listed.

Hi folks!
I've added yet another article to my web site for your information and
amusement. This one is: "A Brief History of the Disposition and
Administration of the Public Domain in Arkansas to 1908." It briefly
highlights for readers the public land laws reflected by the land patent
information, and outlines how those laws operated in Arkansas.
To get to it, go to the URL in my signature block below, click to go to the
Genealogy page and then scroll to the bottom of that page. Then click on the

Lanita,
I tend to agree with you (Murphy's Law and saving addresses). I would
like to suggest a solution. Do a Rollcall with our pertinent data included,
need not be too personal. Make it easy to add to address book. I'm
interested too and willing to start now. Please share your thoughts.

I've been playing again.... here is a historical timeline that might
help us figure out what was happening in the world during the different
periods of time... feel free to copy and insert your own family events.
I would encourage you to insert your own family info, I caught a major
'assumption' regarding one of my matriarchs. I thought she was an adult
when she saved the farm, instead, I learned she was a small girl.

You just brought up something I hadn' thought of... since the boards
have changed, the mailing lists are bound to be the next thing they will
want to 'improve'!! I sure would hate to lose contact with each of you

Do you suppose we had better prepare for those times when we will not be
able to contact each other via mailing list?

Hi,
I am searching for the burial site of Sarah C. STOGSDILL (could be
Stogdale, Stockstill, any number of ways). She was born about 1837. Her
husband is buried in Oregon Co., MO, but I can't find her in that county
or Randolph Co., AR..
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Are there any volunteers on this list that are willing to check the
marriage records at the courthouse?
I am searching for the marriage license of LUTHER BENNETT (b. 1894) and

This couple divorced in 1916, and a daughter (Hazel) was the product of
the marriage.
Any information or help is certainly appreciated!

Looks like, all of our queries will have to be on the mailing lists,
because I just tried to post a response to someone on the query site for
Oregon Co., and the board wouldn't let me! Kept saying 'no data in
message box' when my message was right there!!
I don't know about everybody else, but I HATE these new boards.. they
are so confusing, and you had better have a membership with

doesn't mean that you can actually POST any query or resp

Marsha,
I would be willing to do the rollcall, but we need to talk to the
Administrator first...She/he's the one that would need to call for it, I
think. I know that all lists are different so don't know for sure the
procedure for this list..
Since I'm new on the list, I don't know who the list administrator is,
so pershaps you or someone else can help us.

It's Lanita again.. this was just sent on other list. I tried it.. far
more user friendly than the "new" rootsweb/ancestry.com boards, and I
think I will switch until ancestry and rootsweb comes to their senses!!
(no pun intended!). Apparently several on other lists are SCREAMING
about the changes. Everyone HATES them... so, this may backfire on
ancestry.com and rootsweb.. You might want to try this new url! I plan
on it.
