My husbands Maxwell's and Billingsley's were in Crawford Co before it was Crawford Co. and can be found in the first census of 1821. From there they went on to become among the first settlers into Washington Co., AR as soon as it was open for settlement. Is it possible that anyone could find a birth record for Elsie Lentz(my grandmother) whose parents were Hudson and Ida Lentz. She was born in 1874 or 1875( age 6 in the St Louis 1880 census). I believe they were Methodists. He worked for the railroad. Thank you kindly for your help. Al in NJ
