Myra,
How far back do they have microfilm for the Lonoke newspaper? I'm looking
for a William Lee Cook who supposedly was murdered in the Butlerville area
between 1872 and 1880.

I found a Martie Jarvis buried in Walters Chapel cemetery. Do not know any
other details, just found her in the index. That is the only Jarvis that is

attention.

Dear Listers,
I have just discovered and am working through some older papers that were
loaned to me in order to discover any info on my grandfather, Norflet Perry
BURLISON
(son of L. A. Burlison fr Hardin Co., TN and then moved to Searcy Co., AR).
Perry BURLISON moved from Searcy and Pope counties to Lonoke and Jefferson
counties about 1925 - 1927. It is my understanding that he died in Nov 1939
and is buried in an unmarked grave at Tomberlin Cemetery. NO birth,
marriage, hospital, death certifica
Hi everyone,
I have a question. If there were no recording of Deaths in AR till around the
1913s where else can you find out how someone died? I have an Ella Louise
Hartley and William Durell Hartley that both died on the same day. I would
like to find out what they died of, both were very young. They both died Apr.
29, 1900 in Lonoke Co. and are both buried there. Any idea's would be greatly
appreciated.
Thank you,
Kathryne
Sorry, no Anne or Susannah or Savannah. There are Alber & Nettie, Alber M,

I have been working on the Chambers, Legate, Swaim, Broyles, Wilhite,
Vickery and Tipton line for a long while now, this is my fathers line. I
have alot of information on the Wilhite/Wilhoite, and Wilhoit line, in
connection to the Broyles. Also I have two books that I purchased on the
Swaim linage that goes back to early 1600's about 1620 I think, which
married into the Legate line. I did respond to a post that I received from
a distant cousin of our talking about Col John Tipton. H
Would you look in your cemetery books and see if you can find a John Smith
and wife, both died in 1899 at about the same time. Lived in Brinkley,
Arkansas at the time.
I appreciate you doing this for me.

My Wilhite family came from Campbell Co., TN to Texas Co., MO. I will be
happy to share the information I have about them. I have the line back to
1550 in Germany. I don't have the documentation but have been corresponding
with several people who do have the documentation.
I also have more information about William H. H. Chambers of Alabama.
Actually it is about his wife, Alabama Tipton. Her father was David Butler
Tipton and I am going to forward a post I received from a Tipton cousin.
I am looking for any Tankersley and White in Lonoke Co.Ar,Has anyone seen?
Thanks in advance

I noticed that someone mentioned a Hamilton Cemetery. My greatgrandmother
was Sallie E. HAMILTON b. 1862. She married J.M. Calex GERMANY in Lonoke Co.
I know they are buried in Lonoke Co., but do not have the name of the
cemetery or where it is. I think they probably lived near Cabot, but could
be wrong. Thanks for any help on these families and where the Hamilton
Cemetery is...
