Rita,
My name is Theresa Neumann. I am a descendant of Issac and Nancy Fryar. My
gg grandfather, John B. Garrett married Mary Ann Fryar, daughter of Isaac
and Nancy. What were the birth dates of your Sarah and Louise? In my
records I show a Susannah Fryar married John R. Gilbert on 25 March 1879 in
Montogomery Co., AR. I show here as being born on 29 March 1862 and Louise
being born on 17 Jan. 1872. If these are the right two then they were the
daughters of William and Elizabeth Darcus Singleto

Do you have the the information from the 1850 Census? I believe that I have
found the mother & father of your David Oller, not sure (living in
Montgomery County AR, Sulpher Spring Twnshp). On the image the
first name of the father is hard to read, Could be Jefse Oller, age 44, the
mothers name is Polly, age 44, there are seven children listed and David age
1 is there? Let me know.

I happen to hve both Volumes of "Montgomery County, Our Heritage." I
looked up your Jessee & Mary Oller. It looks like there are 2 different
spellings on him.
One article reads like this:
"One of the earliest records of a homestead in the Sims area is
that of Jessee & Mary Oller who filed for ownership of forth (40) acres just
northeast of Sims in 1848. In 1855, they sold it to Elijah W. Amerson for
$310. or $7.75 per acre." Sims was in the Sulphur Springs T

Patti--I clicked on the ww2 vets on AR. site--Problem Supreme! Someone
came on my computer and was downloading everything. I turned computer off.
It wouldn't go off for a while. Then when I opened it back up--on my
computer was a pic. of a bunch of folders. My computer told me someone was
down-loading these files--this is the reason I turned the computer off
immediately. Have you ever had this problem?

Yes, this is the one I found also. It is the only census where I have found
him. He died in the Civil War and does not appear on any census after this.
Also, I have not been able to find him before 1860 as I do not know who his
parents were or where he lived. He is shown as being born in AL but later
censuses of his children say their father was born in TN. There is a
marriage record in Pontotoc County, MS that shows John Scott married
Virginia Wait in 1855. So, I think he must have been 32 when
