I only can identify his oldest son James H. born in 1812. He shows first in 1820 Towanda census with wife and son. Later he shows in 1830 and 1840 with 6 kid in Monore township. They had a fine line of carriages, coupes, barouches, buggies for use in weddings, balls, concerts, shopping, etc., but their speciality was funeral services. Being the only undertaker in the midwest who had a four-horse hearse, Arnot took it to Springfield, Illinos for the funeral of President Abraham Lincoln.
