My line of Arnot is as follows....
James ARNOT born abt 1804 in Portmoak or Kinningswood, Kinross, Scotland
he died 1878 in Auchterderran, Fife, Scotland and married Margaret WILSON
1822 also in Auchterderran, Fife, Scotland.
They had the following children...
1) Margaret ARNOT 1822 Auchterderran, Fife, Scotland and married
John MORRIS 1851 in Kinghorn, Fife, Scotland (my husbands line)
2) Ann ARNOT 1827-1830 Auchterderran, Fife, Scotland
3) David ARNOT 1828 Auchterderran, Fife, Scotl

I was sent this link and it's great, maybe you can find your relatives
records here where volunteers have gone and collected all the info off
head stones at cemeteries.
A lady I do a web page for Texas, Hill County, I have put up

I just received a copy of a marriage registration of my
GGG Grandfather John James ARNOT that has a "David ARNOT" listed as his
father. According to the copy David was a book binder in England in the early
1800's. John was born in 1831 so David would have been born around 1800 give
or take several years. If this rings a bell with anyone please email me at
