Does anyone have any information on a little school that was located in Poinsett County called Hoot Owl School. My dad James V. Shopher attended along with my aunt Katheryn Shopher.
Just letting everyone know, the annual Parker Pioneer Homestead Festival is
scheduled for October 18 & 19. It is located in Poinsett County at the
Whitehall community. For more information visit their webpage
www.parkerhomestead.com/ . Its very interesting and alot of fun!
I'm looking for someone willing to take digital photos of some tombstones at Potter Memorial. If you can do this, please contact me at the email address below to discuss your charges.

No Flippo's either. I am planning to go out there again in the future. Just
don't know when I will make it there. I will keep the name in mind.

Hi Lori,
The ones I am looking for are of Herbert William Flippo, Jr. and his wife
Irene Flippo. There may be other Flippo's buried there and if so I would be
interested in them also.
