Hi everyone,
I've finally gotten some things done to our Polk County site that have
been waiting in the wings a long time.
You will now be posting your own queries to the GenConnect query board.
No more waiting on me to do it. It will show up immediately and will go
into the GenConnect system with all other queries that were posted using
the GenConnect system. There's a link to the search engine, right there
on the query page. Use it to search for your surnames and expect to find
a LOT of hits.

Hi Everyone,
Have you noticed that over the past few days, the Polk County Arkansas
Site has been averaging about 50 visitors per day???
I hope that means researchers are finding helpful information at our
site. NOW - what are we, you and I, going to do to keep the visitors
coming back? I can't do it by myself; I need your help.
One idea that comes immediately to mind is this: Do some of you live in
or near Mena? Are you willing, next time you go to town, to go to the
courthouse and copy a few of the e
Hi Linnie,
This is Sandy in AZ. I have the 1880 Polk County census on microfilm but I
have no way to read/print it out, plus I live far enough from a library that
could read/print it at a reasonable cost that I can't do that. I would be
more than willing to mail it to anyone that wants to copy and post the info.
Thanks,
Sandy in AZ.
Hi everyone,
I've had two great offers of help for Polk County. If any of you are
able to participate, please let me know.

Hi everyone,
I just posted Center Cemetery listing, thanks to Ken Milam. I made a
mistake in the town name on the first page because I don't know much
about the towns in Polk County.
Is there some nice, kind, volunteer on the list who would be willing to
send me a list of the current towns and what township they are in? I
know I would appreciate it and I bet our visitors would also.
Thanks,
Linnie

Hello Polk County,
Presently, members of the HENRY surname list are building a
web site that contains an index of their HENRYs. When completed,
it should be helpful to many HENRY family historians. I have been
asked to conduct a search for links to HENRY online resources like
personal web pages, and county and local genealogy association
resource pages.
If you have substantial HENRY information on your web page or
know of HENRY information on your county or other local web site,
please send the links to
