1. Cemetery at Devalls Bluff [1]
I have a lot of family buried at a cemetery in Devalls Bluff, which I had noted as OAKLAWN, and I see on the Prairie Co page, one is listed as such, described as being west of the city limits. However, I received a letter from OAKLAND Cemetery association, J.C. "Pete" Castlebery, President. Is this the same Cemetery and has a mistake been made by the Association, as to it's name?

I am researching the Rasco or Rascoe family genealogy. I am especially interested in WILLIAM S. RASCOE who moved to Prairie County Arkansas about 1856 from Fayette County Tennessee. According to the 1850 and 1860 censuses WILLIAM S. RASCOE was born somewhere in the state of North Carolina about 1822. It is believed that he died in Prairie County Arkansas before 1870. WILLIAM S. RASCOE was married twice. His first wife was named W. H. E. ABINGTON and theywere married October 21, 1846 in Fayette County
