The Thweatt family lived in DeValls Bluff. As far as I know there none there. The Thweatt son of the last generation that I knew is a lawyer. His name is James and he did live either in Hazen, Carlisle or maybe Lonoke. He would be in his 60's His father was postmaster and his mother was a great English teacher in DeVallsBluff. High school. Hope this will give you some help. I haven't lived there since 1939 when I went away to school.

James did live in Hazen. His wife was a teacher there.

They were married on March 15, 1867 in Prairie Co., AR. These may be my g-grandmother's (Laura Sparks) parents. Octavia then married William J. King on April 6, 1870 in Prairie Co., AR. Laura was born on Feb 22, 1868/69. I have heard from my family that Laura's mother re-married and it may be possible that her husband, William King was

Those Hills are not related. My family lived in the southern part of the county Their cemetery was at Prairie Chapel but now on the Faupel farm and he moved all the head stones and is faraming the land. I have a list of those. The others are burried in De Valls Bluff in Oakland Cemetery. Thanks for your information. Roy Hill in Baton Rouge
