family and ancestors.. Jackson was born in IL about 1817, unknown where

Is anyone familiar with the Benjamin Seats family including daughter
Elizabeth who is bound to James Tyler after Benjamin dies and son Jarrett
seats who married Margery Tyler? This was in the days before Randolph Co.
when it was Lawrence but most of the family ends up in Randolph.

BRIDGETT LEANN FORTSON, 16, of Delaplaine, was fatally injured in a
car-train accident at Delaplaine Nov 5, 1998. Born in an ambulance, during
a snowstorm, as her mother was being transported to St. Bernards Regional
Medical Center in Jonesboro, she was the daughter of Mike and Rosie Fortson,

I did not find a marriage for Pheoebe C. Legate to a Mr. Powell.

destroyed completely.

JEREMY WILLIAM VANDERGRIFF, 24, of 722 Pettit Road, Pocahontas, died Nov.
16, 1998, at his residence. He was born Nov. 19, 1973, in Pocahontas, a son
of Ruth (Ballard) Redus of Pocahontas and the late William Jerry
Vandergriff. Surviving also are his grandparents, Cleatus Vandergriff, Maye
Vandergriff and Mr. and Mrs. Edsel Ballard, all of Pocahontas. He is buried
in Spikes Cemetery.
