Here are the records of the Epidemics again in case some of you did not see
them.
Epidemics have always had a great influence on people- and thus influencing,
as well, the genealogists trying to trace them. Many cases of people
disappearing from records can be traced to dying during a major epidemic or
moving away from the affected area.
Some of the major epidemics in the United States are listed below:
1657...Boston: Measles
1687 Boston: Measles
1690 New York: Yellow Fever
1713 Boston: Measles
Anyone else that is looking for someone in this area, can also ask for help
on this line. We have people subscribed that are always willing to help if
they can.

I am "old" to this line as you all know.....but I am still desperately
looking for my ancestors on my grandfather's side, JOE L. PARSONS. He lived
in Prairie County, and in the census 1880 showed he was 21 years of age,
working for the railroad.
Joe Parsons is later found in 1900 census in Shady Point, Oklahoma, single
with 13 year old son...and later married in Sept 1900 a young woman from
Shady Point by the name of Flora Heryford (Florence).
If anyone has any information on Joe Parsons...please email m
