Hello everybody - I had so much luck a couple of months ago posting on all
the Arkansas counties about my Haneys ( thanks to Melanie and everybody else
that sends me info) , thought I would try my luck on my Adkisons and
Weirs...So, if everyone that reads this will please look in all your books
and files and send me ANYTHING you have on any Adkison or Weir, I will be
ever so grateful.

I am searching for descendants of MALISSA JANE GUEST b Nov. 19, 1844 marr William J. Garman in 1863; They had a daughter named Laura Alice. I know Malissa Jane Guest Garman died in 1917 in Sevier Co, AR.

I have been notified tonight that Otis Dyer, husband of Myrl died this
afternoon of a long bout with cancer. Otis was past grand master of the Grand
Lodge of AR, Free and Accepted Masons.
Many of you have been in contact with Myrl to purchase the books, The
Unfinished Story of North Howard County & The More of the Unfinished Story
of North Howard County, which both books also contain valuable info for some
Sevier Co families.

Althought lately I have had little time to do genealogy due to a 50th
Class Reunion I have been working on for several months, I certainly
appreciate all you are doing to keep these websites and this roots list
on the net. We need more people like you who are willing to go that
extra mile in research. I sincerely hope that someday I will get to
meet you in person. I live in Fort Smith, and maybe someday you get
this way, or I will get to one of the seminars you attend.

My G-grandfather Warren Jackson Couch died in May 1900. I have the 19th his
tombstone says the 20th I believe. I found him this year in the Redmen -- is
that correct or is it Redman Cemetery.
Is it possible for someone to do a lookup for an Obit on him? I would like to
at least know what is says and get a copy if possible.
Also I just saw in some almost 30 year old notes that there are supposed to
be other Couches in that cemetery. Why I hadn't looked in that cemetery
before I don't know. I have Mr
