Hi
I am trying to find the descendants of Robert H. Atkinson who was in
Boston, MA in 1891, according to a copy of a petition to administer the
estate of his grandmother Lilly (Hicks) Atkinson,of Sackville, N.B.,
Canada, widow of John Amos Atkinson. Robert was the son of Jonathan and
Sarah (McKenzie) Atkinson. Robert had a brother Morille Atkinson who was
in Machias, ME ( my husband's
great grandfather) and a sister Minnie Atkinson of Moncton, N.B.,
Canada in 1891.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have information on this line? I believe William Nathaniel
Atkinson was a son and married Celia Elizabeth Prince. I hope someone on the
list can help me ascertain if John is the grandfather of Cynthia Atkinson who
married J.W. Horton
Thanks - Roberta in CA
Hi Becky,
Here is some follow-on info on Burwell Atkinson. The Burwell Atkinson that
you provide info on from Little Rock is probably not the same as the
Burwell's (three of them from or lived in Camden County, Georgia) from
Camden County, GA. The Burwell Atkinson listed below had as his
grandfather, Shadrack Atkinson of Northhampton County, VA. Shadrack was
married to a Jane Burwell, also of Northhampton County. This is probably
where the name Burwell as a a first name originated for the Atkinsons.

HI,
I realized at some point that I gave the wrong location of the
microfilm. It's not in Lawrence Co., AR records but in *Marion* Co., AR
records. Hope no one searched and searched on their own and couldn't find
them!

Hi,
Here's another bit (typed below) I found at the Little Rock Archives.
It's just a chart in a book collection called "Arkansas Family Historian
Ancestry Charts 1196-1453."
This is chart 1261, originally posted by a Tho. Atkinson from Texas.

Hi Dixie,
Thank you for pointing out the different Burrell's in Camden Co. So
this one was probably in Hall Co. the whole time in GA? I don't know a
thing about this set of Atkinsons. I'll try to make them a page to post at
the Atkinson site on GeoCities, so we can add or correct "publicly". But
I'm way behind on my web page making, so I can't give a date for it's
appearance. Just depends upon whether I make an evening of Caesar III again
or not (really involving city-building computer game!). I h
I am looking for Burnwell ATKINSON that was born in SC. He apparently lived
in Marlboro County, SC until the mid 1800s. He left one son there and moved
to Anson Co., NC. He was listed in the 1850 census there, and had a wife
named Sara. They lived in the Diamond Hill district, and most of the
children stayed pretty close to NC. The son that was left in SC moved to
Texas later. Does anyone have any information on this Burnwell?

The two marked with an *, are directly conneted to me. I would guess
the others are to, but I have no prove - yet.
