Hello fellow Atkinson's listers....

I know that both Florence Hahn and her husband, Floyd W. Parsons (b.1886), were in Kansas in the late 1800's - early 1900's, then moved to Colorado, and finally to Orange Co., CA., where Florence passed away during the 1960's...
Hope someone has more info.....thank you for your t

I am searching for Malon Atkinson
who married Mrs Anna EVANS in Taswell county, Illinois in 1861.
It lists his home town as Lawn Ridge, Marshall county,
Illinois. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Sherry, Just read your David Atkinson e-mail. Nice to read my family
ties! I am a gr-granddaughter of Newton Atkinson, Sr and (2) wife Elizabeth
Susan Keith through their son, Newton Eli Atkinson 2nd, born 1874 in
Jacksboro, Texas. I know that David was the son of Newton Sr and (1)
Clarissa Jane Evans. I will go through my Jack Co., Texas book and see if I
can find any references etc to him. I remember Uncle Jehu Atkinson who would
come to Jacksboro and visit with the many brothers and sister
Hi Shirley:
Thank you much for your support. I don't yet know if my Atkinson family is
related to Agrippa's line, but it's pretty suspicious that all of them were
living in the same area of AL. I do know that my earliest Atkinson, James,
was born in NC abt. 1796. His son, William James, was born near Charleston,
SC abt. 1831, and from there they moved to Shelby Co abt. 1834. This Wm's
son, William C. ATkinson, married a girl named Pool, whose family was from
Bibb Co. AL. The Pooles and Atkinsons (the
Hi:
Does anyone know any names of siblings for Agrippa Atkinson? My Atkinson
family connections lived near one of Agrippa's son, Asa, in what finally
became Chilton Co AL. I feel they were likely cousins, but I've been unable
to get back far enough with the link(s) to make a good connection. My direct
Atkinson line was William James Atkinson who married Sarah Jane Marcus, and
they lived most of their lives in the southern Shelby Co AL area, mid- 1800's
on.
Thanks for any clues--

Among the early settlers of Jack County was the Newton Atkinson family.
