Thanks john; I don't think I will ever get the Campbell pde mystery cleared
up, but at least I know it wasn't there at a certain time.
I went to Marion St a few weeks ago and even though it is only about 50
metres long the 2 last existing numbers are 51 and 54, so it seems it must
have been a lot longer.
Thank you for your assistance..

For those interested,
The Northcote cemetery is located in Seperation Street, Northcote.
About 500 metres down from the Northcote Plaza off High Street. Access
to this cemetery is restricted. (The gates are locked). Access can be
sort by appointment, which can be made with the Preston Cemetery in
Kingsbury (Reservoir). They are the current owners. Northcote cemetery
records are kept at the Preston cemetery office.
The reasons behind the restrictiveness of this cemetery, is due to it's

Correct if I'm wrong (please do, I don't mind) but a death certificate (or
birth) number registered with two names means one person with two names, not
two people. Names on the certificate such as parents' names can often be
wrong because the person that knows best is, in fact, dead. Les, your plot
is thickening, I think.

You could try an inter library loan. I'm not sure where you are but state
libraries in each state should have it. Or you could try the MCC library as
they buy every book on cricket (and most other sports). The staff are lovely
and always happy to help.

They may be able to photocopy the section.
I would have done it for you, but, as I said, our copy has been half-inched.

Can anyone look up death of William HARDING early 1900s (spouse Mary Agnes FLYNN) parents William HARDING & Sarah PIGDON or RIGDON (hard to decipher from marriage cert). I need this to find when he arrived in Victoria, as he was born in Hampshire England c 1850.William jnr was married previously before Mary Agnes but was widowed in 1886, unknown to whom at this stage. Any help greatly appreciated.

So what dose this have to do with Melbourne Jean?
You seems to be using lists to promote things that have nothing to do with
Melbourne.
And I for one do not wish to have a message board connected to this list.
Ray.

I would appreciate if anyone could provide me with details on where William
Street Coburg was / is now.
There is currently a Williams Street in Coburg but I don't believe it is the
same address as I have a number of documents over a few years that refer to
William St.
Thanks,

Hi Christopher
I've just noticed your e-mail in regard to the photo of James Meakin.
We have a photo of Jack Meakin and my father In-law George Hall taken about
1930 in Brisbane or Burleigh Heads.
Any connection

Goodonya Janette, yes its an interesting one, jeez, those deaths with the
same numbers??
That death cert is very interesting, how could that be? Someone has got very
mixed up when the death was notified?
They have mixed up the mothers forename with the grandmothers maiden name,
Stephens.
I got the 2 brothers mixed up in my original post, GHS was the Test captain
and Albert the doomed prodigy.

Australia and England and took his own life in England in 1914. I have
searched for them online to no avail.
I have garnered some information not knowing how accurate it is:

Albert Edwin Trott b.1875

I have an old photograph with the above address on it. There is only a
Campbell street in Richmond now, does anyone have any information on where
Campbell parade was located in the 1890's.
Also Marion street Fitzroy: now it is a short street running off Fitzroy
street but contains the numbers 51 and 54 so obviously it was once longer.
Is it shown on old maps as crossing Fitzroy street?
