G'day again Kim,
I checked NSW Pioneer CD. only births I looked at1788 - 1888
Births registered in Menindee - 818 starting C1869
Births B Hill - 364 starting C1887
Broken Hill South - 4 from C1887
Silverton 350 from C 1885
Milparinka 172 from C1882
No doubt there are other places ie Tibooburra and I have vague recollections
of some early records from the district of Sturt but didn't find any births
for that in the Pioneer index.
To answer you, I'd say they registered in NSW but some of my ancestry went

Dear listers,
I have it well documented that the firm Pitt, Son & Badgery was formed in
1878 (originally G.M. Pitt & Son) when H.S. BADGERY, George Matcham PITT's
son-in-law, joined the firm.
Is anyone able to tell me which one of George's daughters did H.S. BADGERY
marry and, if possible, other details of that marriage ?
Ian Meggitt.
I am trying to find information about the marriage of Clarence Arthur SMITH
or Arthur Clarence SMITH who first married Lillian ? in South Australia,
possibly Wallaroo Mines, about 1906 and then married again, possibly in
Broken Hill possibly about 1930. I know he was in Broken Hill in 1941. Any
assistance welcome.
Thank you
Karan

Anyway I hope someone can help, I know NSW a fair bit and have
lived in areas from Cobar to Taralga and Bundanoon so I can
visualise the areas if someone can point me in the right dir
Could SKS please let me know if Benjamin YOUNG and Eliza BEALE had any
children in Australia. She apparently died in Australia in 1860 sometime.

Good Afternoon Everybody,
I am looking for anyone who might be researching the Fitzgerald name, in
particular Elizabeth Fitzgerald, possibly born around 1830-1831. She married
a William Laird/Leard and had at least one daughter named Frances Emma, who
married Charles Swan in 1907. Elizabeth's parents may have been John and
Margaret Fitzgerald.
I am trying to ascertain whether Elizabeth is part of my Fitzgerald line or
not, the evidence seems to be pointing away from it.

A new virus was released on 11th April. It is called the Badtrans virus and you will be able to find full details on your Virus Checker Vendor's web site. If you haven't updated your virus checker since the 15th April, it will probably not detect this virus.
A number of people on this list are already infected.

Hi Bev,
Vegetable Creek is Emmaville, 30 km from the New England highway - you turn
off at Deepwater between Glen Innes and Tenterfield. It used to be a centre
for tin mining. There's quite a neat little cemetery there and if you go
into town and call into the Mining Museum, you'll find they have the plans
to the cemetery with lots of graves named. Quite a few had "occupant
unknown" so I didn't find my ancestor who died there in 1883.
Cheers
