I've received a copy of the marriage record for my relatives in 1891,
and it has a note that they were divorced in 1908.
It has a couple of index numbers/ code numbers for the divorce.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get more information about this
?
Where would I start ?
Robert
Hello All,
Here's a pretty obvious question. How does one get to look at the IGI? I

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has access to rate books in the Parramatta area in the 1900/1901.
If they do could I request a quick look up for the Harris family. John Harris and wife Martha. It is possible that John was not around at this time so it would only be Martha and if children then daughter Martha.
Thankyou in advance
Sally

Chq. was cashed a couple of days later but STILL nothing. I wrote (emailed)
the Dept. Monday with no response.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has ordered a divorce file as to
the time delay expected.
Cheers, Pauline

in the Edwin St., St. Ann's Well Road area and his parents were.

Unfortunately, after leaving England for Australia, nothing much was

An ancestor ( a convict) Richard Dolan/Doolan married Jessie McPherson in

They both declared they were resident in Byron Plains.

Does anyone have any information re the Station or alternatively, about the
area and perhaps any other stations which were in that area- i.e. late
1900's.
