5. Re: [NSW-C] FARRELL [1]
Maggi, Bodangora is about 10 kms from Wellington on the Wellington to Mudgee Rd. It was first called Mitchell's Creek and then Bodangora. It was a gold mining town and the Catholic Church still stands. The post office and public school are now private residences. I hope this helps. I have more information on Bodangora if you are interested Anne Eccles ecclesfamily@cnn.net.au ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Wednesday, July 17, 2002 1:00 AM
6. Re: [NSW-C] RE: BRIAL FAMILY [1]
Now, this may sound silly, but speaking wearing another hat (chair of a council place names committee): >There are several references to Brial in the area - Brial Street, Brial >Road, Brial Crossing but other than that we have no information. If any one >is able to help with our query we would be most grateful. > My impression is that: Roads get named after who lives on them (rural, that is) Streets get named after mayors/shire presidents and other similar people, who may have never lived in them (and j
