Hello Kay, Re the death of EBENEZER JONES of Kincumber, who died on 28 September 1866 aged 66, a sawyer: The following appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald issue of 12 March 1867: "In September last an old man named JONES, a sawyer, was killed at Kincumber by a log rolling over him. The bones of his head, across from the forehead to the back, were completely fractured and driven into the brain. Death must have been instantaneous". They believed in giving all the gory details back then, didn't they?

Hello Alison, Re your posting concerning members of the Briggs family. There was a C H BRIGGS living at 51 Lake Avenue, Killarney Vale in Wyong Shire listed in the 1971 Gosford telephone directory. Also an I H Briggs living at Trelawney St, Killarney Vale. Try the Probate Index for C H Briggs, seeing he was born in 1894.
