Well Marg, Im an interested bystander from afar (NW of WA).
Have to say thank you though Marg. My early forays into family history were
very well oiled by your advice and a few others CC people too. And so
timely...thank goodness I started hearing the stories when I did, as three
weeks ago my Mum passed away (86). I was able to hear and write her stories
before her mind went and before she left us. I was very fortunate....it
also brought us together in a different way, a way that we both enjoyed an
I have to agree with Sally. I am interested but like to sit back. PamC

Marg,
Most of the reason is that you have helped break down all our Central
Coast brick walls! You certainly did with my Elizabeth Bristowe anyway.
Thanks for all your wonderful help over the years!

Hi Marg,
Please excuse my rudeness but sometimes people don't have alot of time to
spend on their research. Personally I haven't had anytime so maybe that is
the reason I haven't sent any messages. Maybe I have no need to send
messages at present. This isn't a chat forum.
Sometimes people are shy and like to sit in the background for a little
while until they feel comfortable. We should allow them this privilege.
As I said please forgive my rudeness, these are just my thoughts.

Hi Marg
I am having my annual nostalgia trip. My husband runs the HSC/SC at St
Edwards at East Gosford and I do some supervising.
For those who don't know, my gtgt grandfather William ROGERS bought the 13

they called Mona Vale which is still standing and is used these days as
their admin headquarters, though the original 2 brothers lived in at first.
My father inherited it just before he married my mother and farmed it
