There is a William Henry Burgess born 1911 Tamworth (nearish to Gunnedah)
who serves in WW2 he enlists in Gunnedah You can see this in the Australian
National Archives. His next of kin was Jane. There is two other Burgess boys
enlisting in WW2 who were born in Tamworth. William Henry was the son of
William J and Jane Burgess.
If this is the right family I can get you the births until 1918.

Gillain

records can be wrong.

Rather, I want to share her fascinating earlier life with other
descendants.)
The boys then diverged (family legend says). Thomas Alfred went "Back
to Ireland" and William Henry stayed in Aus. He was aroun
