Hi Janet
In the death report, I would assume that the place shown is "Kiewa
Street South Albury"
Kiewa Street is a long street that runs through Albury proper and into
South Albury in a basicly north-south line for a distance of about three
kilometres. Where it crosses the Hume Hwy (Hume St) the suburb
designator changes - Albury or South Albury.

P.S. I spent four years there as a policeman, got to know the whole
town pretty well.

I would like to trace any descendants of Jean EDGEWORTH and Harold FEARNE
who married in Wagga in 1938. Harold died in Wagga 11 Aug 1977 and Jean died
8 July 1986. I believe they may have had two sons Patrick and Michael but
this was part of the fading memory of an aunt of mine who had known her
cousin Jean when they were young ladies in the Wagga/Temora area.
Harold FEARNE may have been part of Fearnes Bus company at some stage but
may have also sold his interests to other family members. Again this is

I've recently come across a location Erimoram Lachlan back blocks. Can
anyone help me identify where this is and the boundaries of these back blocks?
The place is mentioned on the Oxley electoral roll 1869-70 on the Hay

Could somebody with local knowledge of the Albury/Wodonga area advise whether there is a Kiewa Street South in either of those two towns, or a nearby town?
I have a photocopy of a death report of a Neil Jamieson from a newspaper Albury Daily News and Wodonga Chronicle dated May 8, 1867. The name of the street is not distinct but I would have to assume since no name of town is given that the street is in one of the two towns.
Hope somebody can help.
