I have traced a branch of my family to NSW and I am now trying to find some links. My uncle, William Taylor, married Ann Isabel Churchard 31/1/1925. His first daughter was born 1926 and she later married Laurence Francis Dougherty. The second daughter was named Miriam and she married Malcolm Smallwood and lived in Blacktown. There are probably other possibilities that I didn't get. I believe that the Pioneers Index is included in this website. Looking for the family of George Tarrant and Elizabeth Smallcombe. George and Elizabeth were both born and married in Somersetshire, England. Three of their children were born in Somerset John, Job and Thomas. They immigrated to Tasmania where Emma (1856) and Sarah Jane (1860) were born. Later they moved to Newcastle N.S.W. and Ellen and William were born. Elizabeth died 1885 in Adamstown and is buried in the General Cemetery in Newcastle. Hi, Looking for any connections to the above couple. I believe William is the son of William Huddy Perry who came over as a convict in 1817, from London. William & Mary Ann married in in Parish of Christ Church, Newcastle NSW on 20 May 1851. One of the witnesses was Thos Richardson of Maitland.
