I am keen to find the specific date and details of any announcement/obituary that would have appeared in the SMH at that time. What I have read of him records that he was a world recognized Ear Nose and Throat Specialist/Surgeon and that a procedure he developed is still used and continues to be named after him. According to the death transcription - William VICKERY died in 1860, Glebe, Sydney, Australia at the age of 40. Pam Only true way is getting the birth info - or a death (which isn't always accurate in relation to parents Rather than the birth certificate you can go through a transcription agent who can look at the parents names and then provide a full transcript if the parents are correct have a look at the site - http://www.joymurrin.com.au/ - to see what service thay provide (a much cheaper option) Plus do you know if your Joseph died in Lismore? Hello all, Some time back I posted the name Navin from the Windsor area. I now believe they owned and worked a boarding house in that area. It was on the main road that takes you through to Kurrajong and the building still stands to-day. Can any-one help me with this? perhaps some-one who lives in that area?
