Hello list,
who has the surname Lindow in its ancestor line?
They come from Gunterberg in the Uckermark and emigrated to Australia.
Best greetings

Dear Don, there are a number of genealogy programs out there on the market
that might help you.
Which one do you use?
Some people on this list use Family Tree Maker.
Others use Brother's Keeper, Personal Ancestral File, Generations to mention
just a few.
I think that the members of the list may contact you to give you their
expertise on their particular programs.
cheers, Beverly.
Hi Don,
Another program on free download is Legacy which enables you to do a great
deal.
Try http://www.legacyfamilytree.com
The import and merge is very easy to do.
Happy hunting,

Hello listers, Rather than type it all out again and send it individually, I
am sending this post to all the lists to which I am subscribed.
I am seeking descendants of Hermann Robert SCHULTZ son of Friedrich Martin
SCHULTZ.
Hermann was born in RAOZIEN (spelling?) now in Poland but then in Prussia and
married in 1880 in Maryborough to Ernestine Wilhelmine Auguste GEHLER.
Hermann and family lived at Gowrie Scrub and also in Warwick area. This
family is large and I am writing the names that have mar
Hello All
I sent something like this a few days ago, but seeing as no one answered it
or my further request for acknowledgment of receipt, I guess all of those
messages sent during the GO-SLOW on this machine are still in Cyber Space!!
Let all be WARNED - don't download a Printer Driver for a Printer not listed
on your new computer!! (Brands not named to protect the innocent - still
got my sense of humour!)
A couple or so weeks ago I asked if anyone knew about Waterford/Mt Gravatt

Hi All

Hi Wendy
Thanks for responding so quickly. Those others are STILL asleep Wendy (that
is - all except our Jim).
I'm muddling through this old stuff and thanking the good Lord for having
printed most of it!
A very kind person has given me a contact and when I've finished this ground
work, I'll "go there".
There have been so many imports/exports done that I had lost a few links and
these are being found now.
Will get back if I find anything interesting.
Kind regards
Bev

Listers, I have received two emails this week which tell me that I have the
KLEZ virus on my computer.
The only problem is that for the past 8 weeks I have not used the
pussims@cableone.net address and this is the address that appears to have
sent the spurious emails.
My understanding of how this virus works is not clear enough to begin to
explain it to you but suffice to say, my email address for the past 8 weeks
has been
toetweaker@aol.com.
Therefore, if any of you receive an email from pu

I have a dear friend who started the BADGE One-Name Society No 3419. During
those cleanup operations (of which we shall not speak here), I came across
the entry in an Admission Register of Mount Gravatt State School 1878 for a
young Henry BADGE aged 10 years, Father - Labourer. He enrolled at the same
time as three of our GIESEMANNs.
The Bethania book does not appear to have the name and it doesn't have the
GIESEMANNs either (though the web site does - thank you Russell).

the NOTHDURFT, GERSEKOWSKI, WOLSKI, BANNISTER, KENNEDY, HOWDAN, GRAY/GREY, BOLT, LEWIS, NYSTROM and JEITZ families. I am happy to share my information with anyone who is also interested in them.

Hi All

this name born 1896. Could they be one and the same, do you know?
You also have Anna Augusta Helene BEUTEL married to her sibling Gustoff

Wendy??
Sorry about this, but there are soooo many BEUTEL/M\LLER

Dear Listers
I wonder if anyone out there is researching this family and can confirm that
this Catherine KUDER is the daughter of Christian KUDER and Mary Ann HINCHY
as I believe. If this is correct I have a good deal of information on the
ancestors of Christian KUDER that I am happy to pass on.
Many thanks

Hi Don
Welcome to the group. We might have some families in common. Lots of
people started in Bethania & ended up on the Downs.
I use Family Tree Maker & PAF5 (free from
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp ). Paf5 allows many
combinations of partial gedcoms to be extracted...only limited by the
imagination.
With FTM, I create a new file then 'IMPORT' selected bits from the main file
to create partial gedcoms. (the Bethania file is also in the order of 12,000
souls).

Hi Sue
I hope you are still at that address!! A copy is going to SEQ Germans just

Have been going through old mail and came across several of yours, and one
dated 2 April 2000 is very interesting! No laughing permitted here! Yes I
am a hoarder!
At that time I didn't have this stuff but there were a few bells ringing
when I read this oldie, regarding your Stegemann and Zischke connections.
Two of us have been working on the KERLIN name since October 2000 and I have
here mention of the second m

Hi all
Received an email today that looked like a digest from this list.
Thankfully, my anti virus took care of it but from all appearances, it
looked just like a digest version. However, when I opened it, there was
typing on the email, requesting we look at the attachment (very bad
english!)
Beware, if I got one, then there are others out there, take care.
