Hello all,
I've just been given a copy of the Marriage entry for Wille STROHFELDT and Elizabeth TEIS - 23/7/1889.
The Wedding took place in the "German Lutheran Church, Hume Street,Toowoomba".
Henry SAAL and Annie Strohfeldt were witnesses. Does anyone have more information about Wille and Elizabeth and their descendants?
I'd also be grateful for any information about the WENHAM family with links to the STROHFELDTS.
With fingers crossed, Bev Strohfeldt

To Lynne West and other readers
I have a Franziska (Frances Ratz) Raatz married to Carl Frederick(Charles) Erbacher. Carl came to Aust with his parents aged 9 on the Auroa in 1853. Frances's parents were Michael Ratz and Annie Mary Reiecher. Charles was a shearer and was living in Ipswich in 1888. They had a dairy farm at Rosewood. And their house burned down. I have little else to add. I would like to know more, regards

To all on the list,
I would like to advise the list about the long awaited book by Robert C
Heussler which will no doubt be an invaluable addition to every Library &
Family History Society, not only in Queensland but in all the Eastern
States of Australia. This publication will be of special interest to the
descendants of the six and a half thousand immigrants brought to Queensland
during the 1860s by Robert's great grandfather, Johann Christian Heussler.
A true pioneer of Queensland who during his life
Hello listers,
Will someone please be able to give me the death date of James WYER in Qld?
He died some time after 1936 and was born in 1915 to James and Florence
WYER.
Appreciate any help on this one.
Regards,

I would appreciate any assistance with the surname WIRS.
my gg grandmother Elizabeth THATCHER (1842-1886) stated it was her name as a
widow on her marriage to Henry STARR in 1883.
I cannot find her entry into Australia about 1855 so I am having no luck
with this name either.

Hi all,
I have an elderly friend that is looking for the arrival of
Sebastian BORGER and Adeline Elizabeth RAMSAY to Oz and when they arrived.
Unfortunately dates are blurry but they were married in Sydney in 1912.
I know it's a long shot but I am hoping someone out there can help us out
even if it is only to narrow the field a bit.
Thanks
