Hi Vickie
I have a contact at Yarrawonga & Mulwala Historical Society. They have
extensive
records of persons at Lake Rowan in the 1800's. However they do not have an
email contact.
Can you please advise the known details, names, dates etc of your ancestors.
I will pass on your request
The Lake Rowan cemetery has some 300 odd people known to be buried at this
cemetery,
however the burial plots within the cemetery is not known.
Please advise

Hello Vicki,
I have 2 copies of that wonderful book "A Journey through the Parish of
Karrabumet 1872-1932" compiled by those two amazing ladies Joyce Charnstrom
& Jacye Symes .
The Parish includes Lake Rowan. So you could drop a message to the list
with the names and approximate dates you are interested in, and between us
all, we may be able to help.
I'm not sure if the book can still be purchased, but it includes material
from local newspapers, rate books, local families, Land Dept, etc. A

Hi Folks
Rootsweb has been undergoing some complex maintenance work in the area that
carries our Lists. If you have not been getting mail and believe you are no
longer subscribed - Be of good heart. The word is that we just have to be
patient, and I note that in the last 24 hours the mails are coming through.
So no - you have not been accidentally unsubbed. Hopefully we will be back
to normal by the end of the week, but if not, go surfing instead.
Cheers
